Designed by CUBE 3 and managed by Hilton, the 50-story tower will feature 163 upscale residences, including a lavish penthouse. Amenities will enhance urban living, complemented by a host of premium services. With sales already underway, this $500 million project aims to reshape the city’s skyline and luxury real estate market by 2030.
St. Petersburg is set to welcome a new architectural landmark with the announcement of the Waldorf Astoria Residences St. Petersburg, a luxury residential tower that will claim the title of the tallest building in the city. Planned for downtown St. Petersburg at 150 2nd Avenue South, this 50-story tower is designed to reach a height of 539 feet and will consist of a total of 163 residences.
The project represents a collaborative effort between Property Markets Group (PMG), Feldman Equities, City Office REIT, and Hilton, with Smith & Associates Real Estate tasked with managing sales for the luxury homes. Pricing for the residences begins at $2.5 million, reflecting the high-end nature of the development. Once completed, the tower is anticipated to not only reshape the skyline of St. Petersburg but also to enhance the urban landscape with its premium amenities.
The residences in the Waldorf Astoria tower will range in size from 2,031 to 3,408 square feet, accommodating various lifestyle needs. Notably, a lavish two-story penthouse exceeding 10,000 square feet will feature a private pool, showcasing the exclusivity and luxury offered in this new building. Every home will boast custom-built closets and will be equipped with high-end Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, ensuring that residents enjoy both style and functionality in their living spaces. Expansive terraces will also provide stunning views of the bay, enhancing the overall living experience.
A wide array of amenities will elevate the lifestyle of residents at the Waldorf Astoria Residences. Highlights include a Peacock Alley-inspired Sky Lounge, a 20,000-square-foot resort-style pool deck, and a wellness center equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Families will appreciate the inclusion of a kids club and a pet spa, supporting a community-oriented environment. The property will also have 10,000 square feet dedicated to ground-floor retail space, and an impressive 73,000 square feet reserved for Class-A office space, further contributing to the area’s vibrancy.
The architectural design is being handled by CUBE 3, while the interiors are curated by BAMO, ensuring a balance of aesthetic appeal and modern functionality. Management of the property will be under the renowned Hilton brand, which will provide full-service hospitality and concierge access to residents, further enhancing the living experience.
While a specific timeline for construction has yet to be established, plans indicate that construction may begin later this year, with project completion anticipated by 2030. The estimated cost for the entire development is around $500 million, underscoring the significant investment in St. Petersburg’s real estate landscape.
The Waldorf Astoria Residences St. Petersburg is poised to set new standards in luxury living, merging sophisticated design and top-tier amenities in a prime downtown location. As sales have already commenced, this development promises to attract high-end buyers looking for a prestigious address and a vibrant community experience in one of Florida’s most desirable cities.
