"Join St. Petersburg's New Year’s Eve Celebration at The Pier"
St. Petersburg is set to welcome the New Year with an exciting annual celebration at the St. Pete Pier, located at 600 2nd Ave NE. This family-oriented event will kick off at 8 p.m. on December 31, offering free admission to all attendees.
Guests can expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with numerous activities. Live DJs will provide energetic music, while a selection of local food trucks will offer tasty options for every palate. For those looking for a special treat, champagne bars will be available, complementing the festive ambiance. Visitors can enjoy the scenic waterfront view as they partake in games and festivities designed to unite families and friends in celebration.
As parking at the Pier is anticipated to be limited, event organizers recommend early arrival. To ease transportation woes, free public transportation will be available, provided by PSTA. The SunRunner service will operate between St. Pete Beach and downtown St. Petersburg on New Year’s Eve to help attendees reach the event without hassle. Additionally, the regular bus routes, including routes 4, 18, 34, and 52, will extend their services until 1 a.m., ensuring that everyone can return safely after the festivities.
At the stroke of midnight, a spectacular fireworks show will light up the night sky. Lasting about 20 minutes, this dazzling display will be visible from the Pier and several nearby downtown waterfront parks, providing perfect viewing spots for attendees.
