Rob Bowen Launches Luxury Interior Design Studio in St. Petersburg

Rob Bowen Opens New Studio in St. Petersburg: A Haven for Luxury Interior Design

St. Petersburg has welcomed award-winning interior designer Rob Bowen with the opening of his new, expansive 3,000-square-foot studio located at 180 Mirror Lake Dr. N. This decision comes after relocating from Beach Drive. The new premises, designed with a modern industrial flair, was formerly the office of an architect, but has been thoughtfully reimagined by Bowen to align with his signature luxury interior design style.

A Functional Design Experience Hub

Bowen’s firm, Rob Bowen Design, boasts a skilled team of ten members. This studio serves not just as an office, but also functions as an “experience center” where clients can dive into the world of design. The centerpiece is a two-story lobby that mimics a living room setting, creating an inviting space for client consultations. Unique features accentuate the studio’s design, including creatively designed bathrooms and a conference room equipped with hidden kitchen appliances.

Showcasing Innovation and Interactivity

Bowen’s vision for the studio is to provide an interactive space where clients can explore various design elements firsthand. The aim is to allow clients to touch and feel different materials and techniques, making the design process more engaging and personal.

Local Roots with a National Reach

Rob Bowen has deep ties to St. Petersburg and has consistently dedicated his efforts to local projects alongside national endeavors. His firm is well-recognized in the luxury condominium market, having completed numerous projects in many of the city’s newly constructed high-rises. Bowen emphasizes the importance of repeat clients and referrals, which have been a significant part of his business model.

A Shift for Collaboration and Creativity

In order to enhance creativity, Bowen has restructured his business. His husband, Jason, now manages operations, allowing Bowen to concentrate on the design aspect. This partnership is aimed at fostering a more seamless workflow and creative environment within the studio.

Future Plans and Community Support

Looking ahead, Rob Bowen Design intends to expand its offerings by creating a rug collection, alongside furniture and lighting, in collaboration with trusted vendors. This move aims to widen their range of custom-designed products available to clients.

In addition to his business ambitions, Bowen expressed a heartfelt desire to assist Floridians impacted by recent hurricanes. He plans to contribute to rebuilding efforts, demonstrating empathy towards those affected and emphasizing his commitment to the community.

With his newly opened studio, Rob Bowen is set to make a significant impact on the local interior design scene while remaining focused on providing luxury experiences for clients both in St. Petersburg and beyond.
