Florida – A 23-year-old man from Texas, identified as Anthony Thomas Reyes, was arrested early on June 3, 2025, for attempting to trespass at Mar-a-Lago, the exclusive resort owned by former President Donald Trump. The incident took place shortly after midnight when Reyes climbed over a perimeter fence, which set off alarms and led to his immediate detainment by the Secret Service.
Reyes was processed and later transferred to the Palm Beach Police Department, where he was officially charged with trespassing. According to the Secret Service, there were no protectees present at the time of the breach. Following his arrest, Reyes was booked at 4:10 AM and held on a bond set at $50,000.
While in custody, Reyes revealed that his intention for trespassing was to “spread the gospel” to Trump and marry the former president’s granddaughter, 18-year-old Kai Trump. Kai is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife, Vanessa Haydon.
This is not Reyes’ first encounter with the law regarding Mar-a-Lago; he has a history of trespassing and had previously attempted to enter the property on New Year’s Eve. In response to this latest incident, a court has ordered Reyes to have no contact with Donald Trump or any members of his family.

After Reyes triggered the alarms upon climbing the perimeter fence, agents quickly apprehended him without any altercations.
