News Summary

The Magnus Brickell tower has officially opened, offering 465 rental units designed for affordability and modern living in Miami’s Brickell area. With some units available for under $300 a month, this development aims to cater to residents of varying income levels. In addition to residential options, Magnus Brickell features extensive amenities and is positioned next to a new K-8 public school. This project marks a significant step towards addressing affordable housing needs in South Florida while enhancing the local community.

Florida – The Magnus Brickell tower, previously referred to as The Gallery at West Brickell, has officially opened its doors in the highly sought-after Brickell neighborhood of Miami. This significant development features a 29-story Class A apartment building, housing a total of 465 residential rental units that aim to provide both affordability and modern living.

Among the units available, some affordable options offer rent starting at under $300 a month, catering to residents’ varying income levels. The Magnus Brickell is designed with a range of modern studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences that come with curated interiors, appealing to a broad demographic.

Apart from its residential offerings, the Magnus Brickell tower comes equipped with extensive amenities designed to enhance the living experience for residents. These amenities include an expansive sun deck, a resort-style swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, pet-friendly spaces, a podcast studio, and Wi-Fi-enabled co-working areas. Additionally, residents can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Brickell skyline.

Adjacent to the Magnus Brickell tower is a new K-8 public school, which is currently under construction. This educational facility is expected to benefit families residing in the area and enhance community resources. Notably, the Magnus Brickell project also includes 93 units designated for very low-income residents and 70 workforce housing units for families earning up to 120% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

The Magnus Brickell development is recognized as the largest single-phase mixed-income housing project constructed in South Florida, situated south of New York City. This ambitious project resulted from a public-private partnership led by Related Urban Development Group, an affiliate of Miami’s Related Group, in collaboration with Miami-Dade County.

The commitment to integrate affordable housing within a desirable urban community reflects the strategic goal of improving accessibility to transit options, schools, and employment for families in the Brickell area. The Magnus Brickell is a key component of a broader initiative in Miami, which aims to foster transit-oriented developments, increase residential options, and enhance community services.

In addition to supporting families with affordable units, the project also features 59 public parking spaces available for residents and visitors, addressing the growing need for convenient transportation solutions in densely populated areas. This significant investment in urban development aligns with Miami-Dade’s ongoing efforts to improve affordable housing availability and enhance urban design as more individuals and families move to this vibrant city.

As the Magnus Brickell sets a benchmark for mixed-income housing, it stands as a promising example of how urban developments can provide solutions to housing needs while simultaneously enhancing the local community. The combination of residential options and new educational facilities aims to create a vibrant living environment that not only meets the needs of current residents but also attracts new families seeking quality living in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood.
