The Leadership St. Pete (LSP) Class of 2025 has been busy gearing up for an exciting community project that’s set to breathe new life into the Infinite Potential Learning Academy. Since 1970, Leadership St. Pete has been a shining light in the realm of community leadership, and it’s one of the oldest programs of its kind in the whole country! Under the guidance of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, the program has a solid mission: it aims to find, recruit, and foster enthusiastic professionals from our area over an engaging six-month course filled with civic activities and community service projects.
This year, the LSP Class of 2025 is setting the bar high with their ambitious project, which focuses on upgrading the grounds of the Infinite Potential Learning Academy. They are planning to take this school to new heights by constructing a basketball court, a workout and meditation area, a multi-purpose field, and even brand-new playground equipment!
The founder and principal of the academy believes that these upgrades will be a game-changer, not just for the school but for the entire community! By providing a safe and engaging environment, this project will help enhance the quality of life for children and families alike.
The class itself is made up of 39 incredible members who were truly touched by the school’s dedication to its students. For those not familiar, the Infinite Potential Learning Academy opened its doors in 2010. It currently educates around 200 students from ages 2 to fifth grade. To reach their fundraising goal, the LSP Class of 2025 will organize various exciting events and participate in a hands-on service day, with hopes of completing their project by May. It’s all hands on deck as they hustle to make the playground of dreams a reality for the young learners!
