This strategic move aims to boost tourism and accessibility, as JetBlue continues to grow its presence in Florida’s aviation market.

Florida – JetBlue Airways has announced an expansion of its flight network in Florida, which will introduce several new routes starting in December 2025. This expansion aims to increase accessibility and affordability for travelers heading to this sunny state and the Caribbean.

Beginning on December 11, 2025, JetBlue will launch daily flights from Boston Logan International Airport and New York’s JFK Airport to Vero Beach, marking the airline’s first-ever service to this destination. Ticket prices for these new routes will start at $69, providing an attractive option for travelers.

Additionally, JetBlue will reinstate its service to Daytona Beach, with flights scheduled to begin on December 4, 2025. The airline is also offering new seasonal flights from Tampa to Long Island MacArthur Airport in Islip, New York, and from Fort Myers to Long Island, running from mid-December through the end of April.

International service will also be expanded, with daily flights from Tampa International Airport to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic launching on December 18, 2025. Furthermore, seasonal flights from Fort Lauderdale to Santiago de los Caballeros will be available from December 13, 2025, to January 19, 2026, with fares starting at $139.

This strategic expansion is aimed at boosting tourism both in Florida and the Caribbean by enhancing travel options. JetBlue already operates flights from ten other Florida airports and is positioning itself to cater to increased demand for travel to warm leisure destinations, according to the airline’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships.

JetBlue’s efforts to diversify travel options are particularly beneficial for travelers in the Northeast seeking warm getaways and for Floridians traveling back north. Currently, Breeze Airways is the only commercial airline servicing Vero Beach Regional Airport, and JetBlue’s entry will increase the number of flight destinations available from the airport to nine.

JetBlue has been recognized for its focus on affordability and customer experience, having been founded by David Neeleman, who also launched Breeze Airways. By continuously expanding its routes and enhancing connectivity, JetBlue aims to remain competitive in the growing airline industry.

With the upcoming addition of these flights and destinations, JetBlue is positioning itself to become a major player in Florida’s aviation market, offering more choices for passengers and potentially stimulating local economies through increased tourism.

As the airline looks to solidify its presence, travelers are encouraged to explore these new flight options as they become available in late 2025. JetBlue’s commitment to expanding its Florida flight network reflects broader trends in consumer demand for travel, particularly to leisure destinations as the industry continues to recover from previous challenges.
