The husband-and-wife duo The War and Treaty, featuring Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter, is scheduled to perform on Friday at 7:30 PM. They are gaining recognition for their music, following their debut in 2018 and a recent 2023 nomination for Duo of the Year by the Country Music Association. The War and Treaty have also been featured in commercials for the diabetes drug Ozempic.

The Clearwater Jazz Holiday is set to include performances on two side stages, showcasing an additional 14 acts over the course of the four-day event. Gates will open at 4 PM on Thursday and Friday, and at 3 PM on Saturday and Sunday, making it accessible to a broad audience.

The St. Petersburg Opera Company is kicking off its 20th season with Carlisle Floyd’s opera “Susannah” at the Palladium Theater, opening on Friday with additional performances on Sunday and Tuesday. Violinist Benjamin Beilman will also be joining The Florida Orchestra for performances featuring Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto paired with John Adams’ Harmonielehre at both the Mahaffey Theater and Ruth Eckerd Hall.

Legendary Southern songwriters Dan Penn and Spooner Oldham will take the stage on Saturday at the Craftsman House Gallery in St. Petersburg, while country singer Maren Morris is set to perform a free concert at Benchmark Arena on Saturday.

In addition, comedian Dane Cook will entertain audiences at the Seminole Hard Rock Event Center on Friday. An acoustic show featuring Jason Bieler and Jeff Scott Soto will take place at the Murray Theatre on the same night. Meanwhile, Stephen Pearcy of Ratt will perform at Ferg’s Sports Bar Event Center, and several core members of Billy Joel‘s band will perform as Lords of 52nd Street at the Capitol Theatre on Friday evening.

On Saturday, British blues guitarist Joanne Shaw Taylor will grace the stage at the Capitol Theatre, while Yes, featuring guitarist Steve Howe, will also perform at Ruth Eckerd Hall. To wrap up the weekend, the Basement Yard podcasters Joe Santagato and Frank Alvarez will perform live at the Mahaffey Theater on Sunday.
