Auditions will take place from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM ET each day, with a break scheduled from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The auditions will be held at the American Stage Company, located at 163 3rd St N, St Petersburg, FL 33701, within the St. Petersburg College Downtown Center Building. Actors can find nearby parking options, including street and metered parking, a paid lot on 2nd Ave N, and the Sundial Garage situated on 2nd Street between 1st and 2nd Ave N. To enter, performers should use the Third Street entrance and follow signs to the second floor, where an American Stage team member will assist with directions.

Key personnel attending the auditions include Helen Murray, the Producing Artistic Director, Anthony Gervais, the Associate Artistic Director, and Alexandria Hawkes, the Company Manager. Actors who are members of Actors’ Equity Association can schedule their appointments via the Auditions Manager platform.

The American Stage Company is looking to cast Equity actors for various roles in both the 2025-26 SPT (Small Professional Theatre) and LOA (Letter of Agreement) seasons.     • Opening: October 24, 2025
    • Roles include Shaun (20s-40s, male-identifying, strong singer) and Abigail (20s-40s, female-identifying, strong singer).
  • The Scarlet Letter (SPT) adapted by Kate Hamill
    • First rehearsal: December 29, 2025
    • Tech week: January 15-18, 2026
    • Opening: January 23, 2026
    • Key roles include Hester Prynne (mid 20s-late 30s, female-identifying) and Reverend Dimmesdale (mid 20s-early 30s, male-identifying).
  • Into the Woods (LOA) by Stephen Sondheim, book by James Lapine
