News Summary

In St. Petersburg, a fourth suspect has been apprehended in the shooting death of Reginald L. Booth. Police describe the incident as a planned armed kidnapping related to an earlier homicide. Multiple suspects are facing serious charges after evidence, including video footage, aided the investigation. Authorities continue to seek more information from the public to ensure justice is served.

St. Petersburg – A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of 39-year-old Reginald L. Booth, who was killed on July 29, 2025. The incident, which authorities describe as a planned armed kidnapping, has prompted an ongoing homicide investigation.

The shooting occurred at approximately 9:07 p.m. in the 1200 block of 9th Avenue South, where police found Booth suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, but tragically succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.

Police reports indicate that Booth was held at gunpoint by multiple individuals during the attack, which started with him being chased down the street. He was forced back and forth from his residence, where the attackers stole personal items from him. Surveillance footage captured the incident, aiding investigators considerably.

The suspects involved in this case include Keshawn Lamb, 19, from Largo; Larrion Boyd, 18, from St. Petersburg; Dnerius McCullough, 31; and D’Antrell Davis, 19, from Bradenton. Investigators believe that Dnerius McCullough was the shooter responsible for Booth’s death, while Boyd acted as the getaway driver. After the shooting, these individuals allegedly took steps to destroy evidence including burning their clothing.

Since the incident, arrests have been made. Keshawn Lamb was apprehended on August 2, 2025, and is facing charges of first-degree murder and armed kidnapping. Larrion Boyd has been charged with first-degree murder, armed kidnapping, and armed burglary. Dnerius McCullough was taken into custody on August 5, 2025, in Hillsborough County. McCullough has a significant criminal history and was released from federal prison just four months prior to the incident. He faces serious charges, including first-degree murder and kidnapping. The final suspect, D’Antrell Davis, was arrested on August 11, 2025, on charges of felony murder, kidnapping, and being a felon in possession of ammunition.

According to police, the motive behind the shooting is linked to a robbery that had its roots in a drug-related dispute. Boyd disclosed that the shooting was orchestrated as retaliation for a prior homicide involving Booth. This earlier homicide is tied to the 2008 killing of Ruben Rivera, where Booth was reportedly identified as an involved individual.

The investigation has utilized various techniques, including witness accounts and video evidence, to identify and apprehend the suspects. Law enforcement officials continue to encourage anyone with information to come forward and contact the St. Petersburg Police Department.

The tragic events surrounding Booth’s death have underscored the ongoing issues of violence and crime in the area, raising concerns about community safety. As the investigation unfolds, authorities are working diligently to piece together the full story and ensure that justice is served.
